The story begins a couple generations ago in the region of Puglia in southeastern Italy. After visiting Puglia, one understands why wine making is something each Italian family undertakes; miles and miles of vineyards. Collectively, as my great-grandparents immigrated to the United States, my grandparents carried on the wine making tradition in California’s San Joaquin Valley.

I hope to carry on that tradition from one of California's premier wine growing regions, the Dry Creek Valley. Thanks to Dad and Mom for having great food and wine around the table at an early age. Thanks to John, my brother, whether it was dining at The French Room so many years ago, the Mt. Whitney Cafe' after a five day backpack or at one of our homes over the years, there's always something great to talk about at the table. And thanks to my friends for always encouraging me and taking a little time to listen to me rant, I appreciate it greatly. All the best.
