Real Mezzaluna Pasta

I wasn’t crazy when I said that the pot-sticker size mezzaluna at Va de Vi were American Super Sized versions of a classic. I ate at Diavola in Geyserville again recently for oxtail stuffed mezzaluna topped with sauteed calf brains. The size of each mezzaluna and proportion of meat to pasta was right on, very Italian. Oh, and the roasted bone marrow with parsley salad was good too.
