I recently drank the 2006 Sonoma Coast Pinot with a real Pinot Fan at Sage Restaurant in Las Vegas. It paired well with my braised veal cheeks, but better with my friend's lamb. Brightness of fruit and acid that of a ripe bunch of raspberries dominated the wine, but welcome with the richness of the proteins we ate.
