John A. Scheidt, Co-Founder & Creative Counselor 

John is an accomplished cook and major contributor to the vineyard and varietal selection process at Mastro Scheidt Cellars. John has always been good at helping his brother work through the creative process and has been influential in the story and inspiration of Mastro Scheidt Cellars.

Together, John and David have explored The Wild West. From the High Desert in the great American Southwest to the highest peaks in California, Colorado, and Wyoming. John is never without his AM radio to pick up Coast to Coast during a camping trip.

John works within the corporate law profession as a specialist in human resources. John graduated with a BS in Philosophy and a minor in Business from CSU, Fresno and a JD from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

John resides in Oakland, California with his wife and son.
